Dental Assistant – Life Dental Oxford

What You'll Do

  • Assist doctors during a wide variety of restorative, surgical, and preventive procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms before and after patient care
  • Take digital radiographs, intraoral photos, and other diagnostic records
  • Accurately chart treatment and maintain complete patient documentation
  • Fabricate impressions, whitening trays, temporary restorations, and other clinical tasks as needed
  • Educate patients on treatment recommendations and oral health
  • Maintain sterilization and infection control protocols
  • Keep procedures running efficiently to support an exceptional patient experience
  • Communicate effectively with doctors, hygienists, and front office team members
  • Help create a welcoming, positive environment where patients feel comfortable and cared for

What We're Looking For

  • Dental assisting experience preferred
  • Current radiology/X-ray certification (or ability to obtain)
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to jump in wherever needed
  • High attention to detail and commitment to excellence
  • Coachable, dependable, and eager to continue learning
  • Someone who genuinely enjoys serving patients and being part of a high-performing team
